Obverse description Bust of Phriapatios facing left, wearing a distinctive bashlyk (soft pointed cap) adorned with a diadem and fitted with ear and neck flaps, the latter decorated with a torque motif. The ruler is depicted with a short beard and strong facial features rendered in a Hellenistic artistic tradition. A dotted border encircles the entire field.

Reverse description Arsakes I, the dynastic founder, depicted as a seated archer in three-quarter view to the right, enthroned on an omphalos, holding a strung bow in his right hand. The figure is shown in traditional Parthian dress with a tiara. The Greek legend ΑΡΣΑΚΟΥ appears to the left of the seated figure, asserting dynastic legitimacy under the Arsacid name.
