| 背面描述 | Arsakes I, the legendary founder of the Parthian dynasty, depicted seated right upon an omphalos throne, holding a strung bow in his right hand — the dynastic symbol of Arsacid sovereignty. A five-rayed star appears in the field behind the throne, and a monogram is positioned below the bow. The reverse legend, disposed in seven lines within a square frame surrounding the central device, is rendered in Greek script and reads the full royal titulature of Phraates IV. The composition follows the standard Sellwood type for late Phraates IV drachms attributed to the Laodikeia mint. |
