Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Phraates IV facing left, depicted with a prominent royal wart on the forehead and a pointed beard; a diadem encircles the head. The king wears a segmented torque-style necklet. In the field behind the royal effigy, an eagle is shown holding a wreath, while a star above a crescent appears in the field before the bust, serving as dynastic and divine symbols characteristic of Arsacid coinage.
