Reverse description Arsakes I, the dynastic founder, enthroned in three-quarter view to the right, depicted as an archer seated upon an omphalos throne, holding a strung bow in his right hand. A Greek legend surrounds the central type, filling the field on all sides in the characteristic Parthian multi-line format. A monogram appears in the field below the bow, serving as a mint or officina mark. The reverse is enclosed within a beaded border typical of Sellwood Type 35 issues.
