| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Phraates III facing left, rendered in the Hellenistic portrait tradition. The king wears a tiara or diadem with long pendant ties visible behind the head, and his chest is adorned with a jewelled or studded torque and decorated garment bearing a prominent star motif. A short, curled beard frames the royal effigy. The coin is enclosed by a fine beaded border. |
