Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet with raised cheekpieces and a prominent crest, rendered in fine high relief. Long flowing hair escapes from beneath the helmet and falls in wavy locks along the neck. The facial features are finely detailed in the Hellenistic style, with a pronounced chin and parted lips. A dotted border frames the design field.
