Obverse description Head of the youthful Herakles facing right, wearing the lion skin headdress, the scalp tied beneath the chin with knotted forelegs draped over the neck and chest. The facial features are rendered in fine Hellenistic style, with a pronounced brow, well-defined eye, and softly modeled cheek. The lion's mane is rendered with crisp, detailed engraving across the top and back of the head. The field is smooth and unlettered, with no border inscription.
