Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left, nude to the waist with drapery over his lower body, seated on a throne with beaded decoration. His extended right hand holds an eagle with spread wings, while his left hand rests on a long scepter. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward in the right field. A torch appears in the left field as a mint control symbol, and a forepart of a horse or similar secondary control mark is visible beneath the throne. A flower or trident symbol appears to the right of the legend as an additional control mark.
