Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a low stool-throne, his upper body partially draped, holding an eagle on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs to the right of the figure in Greek letters. A caduceus appears below the throne as a mint control symbol, and a spearhead is placed in the outer right field as a secondary control mark. The composition follows the standard Alexander-type reverse design established at the Colophon mint.
