附加信息

Philip III Arrhidaios was Alexander's half-brother, intellectually disabled and used as a political puppet by competing factions within the Macedonian court following Alexander's death in 323 BC. His coinage — struck at multiple mints under regent control — continued Alexander's established types almost without interruption, a deliberate choice to signal dynastic continuity during a period of acute succession crisis. The Kolophon mint on the Ionian coast was productive throughout his short reign.

He was murdered on Olympias's orders in 319 BC, having never exercised independent rule.
