Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a backless stool-throne, his upper body nude and his lower body draped; he extends his right hand forward bearing an eagle, while his left hand rests upon a long sceptre. A bee symbol appears in the left field, serving as a mint control mark, and a monogram is placed below the throne. The Greek legend ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ runs along the right field, reading downward. The composition follows the canonical reverse type established under Philip II and continued through the early Diadoch period.
