Obverse description Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless, wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress with the animal's gaping jaws framing the forehead and knotted paws visible at the neck. The modelling is confident and detailed, with carefully rendered curling locks emerging beneath the headdress. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck Hellenistic coinage. No legend appears on the obverse.
