The youthful, idealized face is turned very slightly to the right, with softly modeled features including full lips and heavy-lidded eyes. The relief is high and sculptural, with the radiate nimbus filling the field to the coin's edge. No legend or border is present on the obverse. |

| 背面描述 | A fully open rose blossom viewed directly from above occupies the central field, its petals symmetrically arranged in the characteristic emblem of Rhodes. The Greek letters Ρ and Ο flank the rose to left and right respectively, serving as abbreviations for ΡΟΔΙΩΝ (of the Rhodians). The magistrate's name ΦΑΙΝΙΛΑΣ is inscribed above the rose in Greek characters. Below the rose, an akrostolion (ship's stern ornament) appears as a secondary device. The design is framed by a dotted border. |
