| Beschrijving keerzijde | A Zoroastrian fire altar depicted centrally, with stylized flames rising from the altar top, flanked on either side by two attendant figures (fire-priests) standing in profile, each bearing a staff or barsom bundle. The composition is rendered in the canonical Sasanian hammered style, with the altar and attendants enclosed within a double border of beaded and serrated rings. Mint and regnal year marks appear in the fields to the left and right of the altar, inscribed in Pahlavi script. The reverse design follows the standard Sasanian religious iconography affirming the king's role as guardian of the sacred flame. |
