| Obverse description | Stylized male head facing right, rendered in the schematic La Tène Celtic artistic tradition. The face is depicted with exaggerated, abstracted features including large curvilinear eye sockets, a prominent nose, and a wide mouth. The hair is represented by a series of raised pellets and swirling curvilinear forms arranged above the head. A square or rectangular geometric symbol with a central pellet appears to the left of the face, a distinctive attribute of the Goutrens type. The overall design shows strong abstraction from its Massalian prototype. |
