| Reverse description | A fire-temple of Ahura-Mazda with crenellated turrets occupies the central field, rendered in the characteristic architectural style of the Persis frataraka coinage. To the left of the altar, the king stands in right profile with both hands raised in a gesture of prayer or veneration before the sacred flame; notably, no standard or staff appears to the right of the altar, distinguishing this as the 'without standard' reverse type. Aramaic inscriptions appear to the left, below, and to the right of the altar, identifying the ruler and his title. |
