Reverse description Diademed and draped bust of Obodas III facing right, depicted in the characteristic stylised manner of Nabataean royal portraiture. The king's hair falls in wavy strands to the neck, and a diadem is clearly visible across his brow. A Nabataean regnal date inscription appears to the left of the bust in the field. The design is enclosed within a beaded border, and the lettering is rendered in the cursive Nabataean script typical of issues from this reign.
