Obverse description Bust of Mithridates IV facing left in high relief, depicted with a elaborate tiara or diadem adorned with multiple rows of pellets and decorated with a woven or striated band, with a long veil or lappet falling behind. The king wears a torque necklace composed of pellets and a beaded collar or pectoral ornament visible at the shoulder. A short, curled beard is rendered in detail.
