Obverse description Diademed and bearded bust of Manuchtir I facing left, wearing a Parthian-style tiara ornamented with a pellet-in-crescent motif. The portrait is rendered in the local Persis tradition, with flowing hair visible beneath the headdress and drapery indicated at the truncation. The effigy is boldly struck in high relief against an irregular flan typical of hammered coinage of the region.
