Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a stool-throne, his torso nude and draped below the waist, extending his right hand forward upon which an eagle with closed wings perches, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. In the left field, a forepart of a lion advancing left serves as a mint control symbol. Beneath the throne, the letter A functions as a secondary control mark. The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ ('of King Lysimachus') runs in two lines flanking the enthroned figure, identifying the issuing authority.
