| Beschrijving voorzijde | Youthful, beardless head of Heracles facing right, clad in the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forelegs knotted at the throat. The facial features are rendered with fine Hellenistic naturalism, conveying the heroic idealism associated with Alexander III iconography. The lion's mane fans dramatically across the left field, its stylized strands deeply engraved in the Colophon workshop tradition. A plain inner border frames the design. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne, his body draped from the waist, holding a long scepter upright in his left hand and an eagle with closed wings perched on his outstretched right hand. In the left field, the forepart of a lion is placed above either the letter Φ or a crescent, serving as mint control marks. A pentagram appears beneath the throne. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, referring to Alexander III in whose name this posthumous issue was struck. |
