Reverse description Trident set upright in the central field, with three pointed tines above a crossbar and a broad, flat base, serving as the principal emblem of Poseidon, divine patron of Priene. To the left of the trident, a dolphin curves upward, its body arching to follow the inner contour of the flan. The ethnic inscription ΠΡΙΗ appears to the right of the trident shaft, while the magistrate's name ΛΥΣΑΓΟ is distributed to the left, identifying the issuing authority. The composition is framed by a plain border, and the bold, deeply struck design is characteristic of the civic silver coinage produced at Priene in the early Hellenistic period.
