Obverse description Bust of the king facing right, depicted in a frontal-facing stylized manner with elaborate jewelled earrings and a distinctive winged crown surmounted by a crescent and star finial. Two pellet stars are placed symmetrically in the upper field flanking the crown. The entire design is enclosed within a double dotted border, characteristic of late Sasanian coinage.

Reverse description A fire altar, decorated with hanging ribbons or fillets, is shown centrally as the primary device, flanked by two attendant figures standing and facing inward toward the altar in the traditional Zoroastrian priestly posture. The composition is contained within a triple dotted border. The scene follows the canonical Sasanian reverse type emblematic of the Zoroastrian sacred flame.
