Obverse description Bust of a Sasanian-style ruler facing right in the central field, depicted in the traditional late Sasanian manner with elaborate crown or headdress surmounted by a crescent and ribbon ties visible at the sides. The bust is rendered in low relief characteristic of Arab-Sasanian imitative coinage, surrounded by concentric decorative rings and marginal Arabic legends in the outer border. The overall design closely follows Sasanian prototypes while incorporating Abbasid-era Arabic religious inscriptions. The coin exhibits the typical irregular flan and uneven strike consistent with hammered silver production of this period and region.
