| Obverse description | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, wearing the horn of Ammon curling behind his ear, his hair rendered in flowing, tightly wound locks characteristic of the Lysimachan coinage tradition. The portrait is boldly modeled in high relief with strong facial features and a fleshy neck, filling the field in the Hellenistic manner. No legend appears on the obverse. |
