Obverse description Youthful head of the deified Heracles facing right, depicted beardless and wearing the scalp of the Nemean lion as a headdress, the beast's muzzle and paws rendered in fine relief above the forehead. The hair falls in thick, undulating locks beneath the lion skin, framing the idealized facial features characteristic of the Lysimachean workshop style. The portrait occupies the full field of the flan, with no surrounding legend, in keeping with the standard Alexander-type coinage.
