Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his right hand extending forward to support an eagle with folded wings, his left hand grasping a long sceptre. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward in the right field. A star appears in the upper left field and a lyre in the lower left field, serving as mint control symbols characteristic of the Colophon issue.
