Obverse description Youthful head of Heracles facing right, wearing the Nemean lion scalp headdress with knotted forelegs across the neck, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing locks emerging beneath the pelt. The facial features are clean-shaven and classically idealized, with a strong profile, prominent brow, and slightly parted lips. The lion skin is depicted with naturalistic detail, the gaping mouth and mane framing the deity's head. The flan shows typical hand-struck fabric with a slightly uneven edge characteristic of late fourth-century Macedonian silver coinage.
