| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his nude torso draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field, a ram's head of Ammon faces right as a mint control symbol, and below the throne an ivy-leaf appears as a secondary control mark. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III. |
