Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne without back, his nude torso turned slightly forward, holding an eagle aloft on his extended right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, the civic monogram AM appears above an oenochoe (wine jug) facing right, both set beneath a decorative vine tendril — the distinctive control marks of the Temnos mint identifying this issue. The reverse legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading downward in standard Macedonian royal coinage format. The composition closely follows the canonical Alexander type established under the Macedonian royal coinage, here adapted for autonomous civic production.
