| Obverse description | Stylized bust of a Sasanian king facing right, rendered in a debased provincial manner derived from late Sasanian prototypes. The effigy displays an elaborate winged crown or headdress with beaded detailing, and the neck and chest area are adorned with a prominent beaded torque or necklace. The facial features are schematically rendered, reflecting the progressive abstraction characteristic of post-Sasanian imitative coinage of the Sindh region. |
