| Obverse description | Diademed bust of a bearded king facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with simplified provincial workmanship. The diadem ties are visible behind the head, and the portrait displays characteristic Indo-Parthian stylization with a broad, flat execution typical of hammered billon issues. A corrupt or degenerate Greek legend surrounds the effigy in the field, reflecting the gradual deterioration of Greek epigraphy in the eastern satrapies. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-struck coinage of this period and region. |
