| Obverse description | Diademed head of Diodotos Tryphon facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with voluminous curly hair bound by a royal diadem, the ends of which fall behind the neck. The portrait is set within a beaded border, with no legend in the field. The modelling of the facial features is naturalistic, consistent with Seleucid royal portraiture of the mid-second century BC. |

| Reverse description | A Seleucid eagle standing left atop a thunderbolt, with wings spread and head turned to the right. Flanking the central device are two vertical palm branches. A control mark appears in the lower field. The royal legend is arranged in two vertical columns on either side of the eagle, reading ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΡΥΦΩΝΟΣ ΑΥΤΟΚΡΑΤΟΡΟΣ. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
