| Obverse description | Bust of Artemis facing right, rendered in a Celticized Hellenistic style derived from Massalian prototypes. The hair is depicted in thick, stylized locks swept back from the forehead, characteristic of the late Ligurian Celtic coinage tradition. The facial features are summarily executed, with a prominent nose and simplified eye. The neck and drapery below are schematically rendered, consistent with the progressive abstraction typical of this series. |
