Obverse description Bust of the ruler facing right in high relief, depicted with an elaborate crescent-surmounted crown adorned with ribbons and foliate ornaments, characteristic of late Kushano-Sasanian artistic convention. The effigy shows the sovereign with prominent facial features, wearing beaded jewelry at the neck and a draped garment. A dotted border encircles the design field. Brahmi legend appears in the upper field flanking the crown. The style reflects the hybrid Indic and Iranian artistic tradition of the Alchon Huns.
