| Reverse description | A fire altar with billowing ribbons occupies the center of the reverse, flanked by two standing attendants in the traditional Sasanian manner. A star and crescent motif flank the altar flames above, rendered with characteristic precision. The design is enclosed within a triple linear border, with star-in-crescent devices repeated in the outer marginal band, consistent with late Sasanian coinage conventions. A Pahlavi mint and regnal legend is present in the field. |
