| Obverse description | Effigy of Queen Buran facing right, depicted with a distinctive crown featuring two lateral wings and a korymbos set upon a crescent; a ribbon adorns the left shoulder while a crescent with ribbon embellishes the right. A star and a star-in-crescent motif flank the crown on either side, with additional star-in-crescent devices arranged in the outer margin. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic late Sasanian style, with fine linear detail in the facial features and regalia. An Inscriptional Pahlavi legend accompanies the royal effigy in the field. |

| Reverse description | A fire altar with billowing ribbons occupies the center of the reverse, flanked by two standing attendants in the traditional Sasanian manner. A star and crescent motif flank the altar flames above, rendered with characteristic precision. The design is enclosed within a triple linear border, with star-in-crescent devices repeated in the outer marginal band, consistent with late Sasanian coinage conventions. A Pahlavi mint and regnal legend is present in the field. |
