Drachm - Artabanus II

Beschrijving voorzijde	Bust of Artabanus II facing left, depicted in the characteristic Parthian royal style. The king wears a tall tiara adorned with multiple horizontal ridges and a prominent diadem, with long flowing hair rendered in stylized parallel strands falling behind the neck. The royal beard is similarly treated with incised parallel lines. The bust is set within a plain inner border surrounded by a beaded outer border, and no legend appears on the obverse.
