A Greek legend surrounds the central device, reading BASILEWS ARSASKOU (King Arsaces) to the right and above, with the additional epithet titles continuing to the left. The inscription is rendered in Greek characters and runs clockwise around the periphery. The design follows the long-standing Parthian reverse type established from early dynastic issues. |
