| Obverse description | Bust of Arsaces II facing left, wearing a distinctive soft Parthian bashlyk (satrapal cap) adorned with pellets along the brim and a diadem tie visible behind the neck. The facial features are rendered in a Hellenistic style with a prominent nose, defined chin, and carefully delineated eye. The neck is bare and the portrait occupies the full field of the flan, with no surrounding legend. The style reflects the transitional Greco-Parthian artistic tradition of the early Arsacid dynasty. |
