Obverse description Draped bust of Ardashir II facing right, wearing a plain mural crown surmounted by a korymbos (globular hair mass encased in fabric). The royal effigy is encircled by a beaded border, with Inscriptional Pahlavi legends flanking the bust in the field to the left and right. The portrait displays the characteristic Sasanian style with detailed beard rendered in rows of pellets and prominent ear pendants.

Reverse description Zoroastrian fire altar with stepped base and prominent flame, adorned with flanking ribbons or fillets, attended by two standing figures on either side, each wearing a plain crown with korymbos in the Sasanian royal tradition. The attendants face inward toward the altar in a devotional posture. The scene is enclosed within a beaded border, with Pahlavi mint and regnal inscriptions in the surrounding field.
