| Obverse description | Diademed bust of Artaxerxes III (Ardakhshir III) facing left, depicted in the local Persis dynastic style with a bearded effigy wearing a distinctive radiate or turreted crown with upright elements. Aramaic inscription surrounds the bust in the field. A triskeles symbol appears to the right of the portrait, a characteristic dynastic emblem of the Persis kings.
