附加信息	Antiochus VI was installed as a puppet king around age three by the general Diodotus Tryphon, who had seized on the boy's royal blood to legitimize his own bid for power. Tryphon would eventually have him killed — probably in 138 BC — and declare himself king outright, making this brief reign one of the more cynically engineered episodes in Seleucid dynastic history. The Dionysos epithet was almost certainly Tryphon's propaganda, not the child's.
