The portrait displays idealized youthful features with a strong profile characteristic of early Seleucid royal coinage. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of hammered silver coinage from the eastern Seleucid mints. |

The god is depicted nude or semi-draped in the Hellenistic manner, with the omphalos serving as a dynastic emblem of Seleucid legitimacy. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ is arranged in two vertical lines flanking the central figure, reading 'of King Antiochos.' A control mark, appearing as a small symbol within a circle, is visible in the lower right field. |
