| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, beardless, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress, with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forepaws knotted at the throat. The rendering is in the bold Hellenistic style characteristic of the Lampsacus mint, with deeply modelled facial features and finely engraved lion mane framing the face. No legend on obverse. |
