| Obverse description | Youthful head of Heracles facing right, depicted beardless, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion, with the animal's gaping jaws framing the forehead and the paws knotted at the neck. The finely modelled portrait displays characteristic late 4th-century Macedonian die-cutting, with strongly defined facial features, an almond-shaped eye, and softly rendered hair visible beneath the lion-skin headdress. The field is plain, and the coin is bordered by a dotted circle. |
