| Obverse description | Bust of a ruler facing right in the Sassanian style, depicting a diademed and draped effigy surmounted by an elaborate winged crown with a distinctive Alchon crescent-and-globe finial. The facial features are rendered in a somewhat barbarous imitation of Khosrau II prototypes, with a pronounced eye and stylized beard. A double-beaded border encircles the central design. Pahlavi legends appear in the field to the left and right of the bust, imitating the mint and regnal inscriptions of the Sassanian prototype. |

The altar displays the typical stepped base and flame. Two subsidiary crescent or annulet symbols appear in the upper field. The entire design is enclosed within a double-beaded linear border, with Pahlavi legends occupying the left and right fields in imitation of Sassanian prototypes. |
