| Obverse description | Draped bust of the Sasanian king Khusraw II facing right, wearing an elaborate winged crown surmounted by a crescent and orb, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Pahlawi legends appear in the field to the left and right of the bust, with an Arabic religious inscription added in the outer margin, reflecting the Arab-Sasanian transitional coinage style. The effigy closely follows the standard Sasanian prototype, with fine rendering of the royal regalia and drapery at the shoulder. |

| Reverse description | Zoroastrian fire altar raised on three steps, with a flame rising from the top, flanked on each side by a standing attendant priest (mabedh) facing inward toward the altar. A small star appears to the upper left of the flame and a small crescent to the upper right. The Pahlawi regnal date is inscribed to the left and the mint abbreviation to the right of the altar. The entire design is enclosed within a triple beaded circle, following the standard Sasanian reverse format. |
