| Obverse description | Bust of a ruler in right profile, rendered in the Sasanian artistic tradition. The figure wears an elaborate crown or headdress with stepped and globular decorative elements, consistent with late Sasanian and early post-conquest Arab-Khwarezm coinage. The hair is depicted in stylized ribbed or braided locks falling behind the neck. A beaded necklace or collar is visible at the base of the bust.
