Obverse description Bust of the Sasanian king Khusro II facing right in high relief, wearing a distinctive winged and mural crown with a crescent and globe finial, rendered in the late Sasanian artistic tradition. The effigy displays characteristic pellet decorations surrounding the portrait, with a beaded inner border encircling the central device. Pahlavi inscriptions appear in the field to the right and left of the bust, including the governor's name 'Abd Allah b. Khazim (APDULA bin AZMAN). The overall style closely follows Sasanian prototype drachms, adapted by Arab-Sasanian administrators for post-conquest circulation.
